Bestari Award 2009!

Unveiling The Best.

Today i woke up bright and early feeling so positive. Its a great start i must say, rummaging thru my wardrobe for a Kick-Ass Attire to wear. I really put in ALOT of effort to look presentable and well-groomed today. I was so totally rocking my Sexy Black get-up from H-to-T.

People were giving me double-takes alot today! Or they were literally staring rudely which got me annoyed. Its not as if i dress-up for them to oogle or gawk at. I dress up to make myself feel confident, happy and on top of my game! :)

SemPro lesson was a bore coz she was teaching us Microsoft Excel Basics, hence i started drawing and stuff on my Excel Spreadsheet! Haha. I just couldnt wait for time to speed up so that i could leave campus and get on with my agenda for the day!

After a crazy Maths Quiz, i finally got my big break and rushed out of campus at the speed of light. Bumped into Cuzzie Liyanah, Aiba, Farah, Hamka, Zubaidah and Mahira one after the other at the long walkway to YCK MRT Station. Sorry guys i didnt really have time to stop and chit-chat as much as i wanted to, i was running late for an event.

What event was so important that i was rushing and actually gave OC Tutorial a miss?

Bestari Award Presentation Ceremony 2009!! It was held at ITE Dover HQ and trust me when i say that i was expecting a dull monotonous ceremony as with all the other ceremonies i've attended before! I was certainly in for a huge shock when i arrived and saw a group of nicely dressed Ladies and Gentleman practising some sort of dance with fans on the stage. I thought they were the performers having their rehearsals. I was so wrong! They were all Award Recipients like me and we had to master a choreography since we were the one's doing the Opening. *Faint*

WTH LAAA!! I was super nervous can. The theme was Masquerade so we were given masks and stuff. Practised like crazy in a mere 2hours to get the steps right and i had alot of fun! I was the first to lead the long walk up the stage in the dark from the main entrance after the GOH took their seat. Pretty exhilarating and crazy laaa!! Thankfully we didnt embarass ourselves on stage, the crowd loved our mini Masquerade Dance!!

Oh, it was a red-carpet event so there were like 4 or 5 Photographers everyone and they were on super paparazzi mode laa! I've never been pampered by the camera so much ever! Every step we took we get snapped. It was crazy dope shit!!

The event was flawless and yes, im one of the lucky 45 students to be awarded The Bestari Award! Imran Ajmain was there too and the crowd was going psychotic. Just imagine if it was Beyonce or PCD instead? HAHA -_-"

I didnt take much photos of the event myself coz the Paparazzi's covered that well enough. I hope they upload it all onto FB or something, coz im sure there's alot of me in the photos. HAHA. Oh i met Saiful Fitri's cousin too!! What a small world right? Cant wait to tell him all bout it!!

This wass like the best Masquerade Theme Event i have ever attended in my entire Life! I tremendously enjoyed myself, the great company of new found friends and obviously the purple mask and fan. The event was even aired on Malay News laa, but too bad i didnt appear on TV. Kudos to the organisers for their creativity and well execution.

Yes, im still HIGH.

Met up with Love afterwards to get somethings done together and she was wow-ed by my attire. LOL. Even i myself felt like a Business student more than a Science student in my formal attire. Feeling-feeling that i work at Shenton Way! :)

We went crazy web-camming after that at Macdees, she never fails to put a smile on my face no matter how worn out i am!

Walked her home afterwards and she actually helped an Old Woman cross the road. It was just so gracious and kind of her laa, damn heartwarming to watch. Just one of the many reasons why im head over heels in love with her.

Spotted Aiba's pet cat Oreo so we stopped to pamper it but Oreo was really shy! Or maybe it was just afraid of me, who knows.

All in all, it was a freaking splendid day. Im so hyper and high, you can prolly tell right. heh. Im so freaking happy, i can literally poo glitter right now! But sadly, i have to get my rest before another day in school starts. Gahh, there goes all my fun-time. I hope this hyper feeling sticks with me throughout. :)

Depressed no more, hopefully

Its been hell of a sucky depressive week for me. Everything keeps going crazy one after another, affecting my mood and sanity. It doesnt help that school has got me so caught up, that im unable to blog, bitch and rant all i want like a psychopath denied his thrill of murder.

Its official: Im NOT gonna be attending Investiture 2009. I dont think all of you get the main point here. Im not making a big fuss or being childish seriously. Im just standing up for what i firmly believe in. The main issue here is not about the Invites at all. Its bout your ATTITUDE. So till you deal with that, i have no wish to be within a radius of 2diameter near you. Oh, and if you have no clue at all whats REALLY going down, i would appreciate it if you stay out of it thank you. Wait till you're in our shoes then you will know how sucky it feels like to be treated like dirt. Seems like the sole event i've been looking forward to in the whole of 2009 is now striked out of my list. You guys dont need a Masquerade theme, you've blown your cover. :)

School has been same old same old, just that i have a new found friend named Kimberly-Clark! She loves hanging out in Toilets like me! LOL!

Some things never change too. We still go brain-dead when lecture gets dry. Or the typical "Lets-Video-Call-And-Not-Pay-Attention" during Tutorials. The friends and company have been awesome dope shit too! They're the reason i drag my sorry ass out of bed to attend school.

And admit it or not, we are all pretty much going gaga over Macdonald's Monopoly game. I have like 3 small fries and 1 apple pie that have yet to be redeemed. Getting Sentosa Cove anytime soon would be so loved!

Something really crazy happened during Lecture recently. I was brain-dead in comatose state when Lab Partner Saiful Fitri started digging his nose. It cracked me up big time laa! I dont know whats so funny, its supposed to be uber disgusting but somehow he managed to get me laughing hysterically. He even showed us the "end-product" which i managed to capture on Camera. Plus a super hilarious video of the "process" too! Though i wont be so mean as to put it up here and embarass him, coz he's simply the best!

Things havent really been smooth-sailing for you i guess but i want you to know that i appreciate you as a great friend who has been there for all of us in times of need. You're our cheer-leader, and im glad to have a kick-ass irreplaceable Lab Partner like you. I hope you'll be fine soon! Thanks for all the laughter and great fun! You once send me this sms which brought me back to my feet when i was down in the dumps, i guess you need a reminder yourself now:

Its been all about Birthdays back to back too! Ee Pheng evolves into an Aunty by being one year older like finally! She's the only one who gets to call me an idiot and gets away with it scot-free. lol! Thanks for being a great classmate who never fails to make me smile and laugh at your silly antics. You're an awesome twitter stalker too! Heh. We shall have fun in Japanese lesson soon!

Happy Birthday to newly appointed class rep Masturah too! Her Family stories never fail to crack me up. She's ever so helpful and friendly, a joy to be around! We love you too!

Oh, i had a meet-up with Cuzzie Liyanah also! We were both depressed i guess so the company was loved! Japanese food cheered us up, and Yami Yoghurt is the sex y'all! We also had our crazy bimbo moments which i shall not disclose here. Stupid Signboard, tsk! Paid Cousin Elfi a visit in the hospital since we were in the area. He looked so pitiful laa, sad sia. I hope he'll be fine soon!

Liyanah, you have to remember that no matter what School is of main priority okay! Screw those Juveniles who have nothing better to do, you still have me your awesomely nice cousin. heh.

FYI, Farah's blog is like the coolest website on earth right now! Attempted to view her blog during tutorial lesson coz i was bored when i was greeted by this notification below. -___-"

Last but not least, today marks the 2nd month that i've been together with Love! I actually went to Orchard a few days back after school ended to buy some stuff for my DIY gift to her. Im so loving it and i hope she likes it too, considering that i spent quite alot of time on it. LOL. Its actually a decorated wooden board with her name on it and lots of mirrors. :)

We met up and went on a date after days of not seeing or speaking to each other. First-stop was Donut Factory and trust me when i say Donut Sundae is sinfully delicious. The ice-cream was super delicious to the max! We headed off to have Yami Yoghurt after that, it was practically a pig-out day where we were starving our face non-stop with food. Do kill us when i tell you that Yami Yoghurt was followed by Popeye's at Changi Airport. Hehehe.

I really enjoyed myself and the company. It felt good being able to share with you whats been eating at me for the whole week. Felt very mature being able to speak out and voice out my problems and it certainly was loved having you comfort me and being a great listening ear. Thank you for the Adidas Wallet, i'll treasure it. Heh. You're my Number 1, I Love You.

So yea, my week was depressive but somehow its getting better towards the end. Thanks to all who have been there for me through this dark period. To top it off, i had a good conversation with Faris Haekal on the phone. Its been ages since we properly spoke to each other so it was nice that i didnt hold myself back from contacting him to tell him how much i've missed him.

I hope things get better from now, i cant wait to see them! :)

You're going Down Down Down.

Im not really in a good shape right now (i dont mean circle, squares or right-angle triangles) but im feeling way better than i did this morning. Woke up with a throbbing headache that seriously made me feel irritated and abit nauseated. Im pretty much sure it's due to lack of sleep. There's so many things to do but so little time! Its like my world spins 48hours faster hence i dont wanna waste it on sleeping which is totally unproductive.

And as if that isnt enough, alot of drama is going on as i type this out. Dont get me wrong, i love drama but if it comes with immature backstabbing and fake rumours you can count me out. I dont deal with juveniles. Tsk.

Whoever said im up to something, is seriously disturbed! The only thing im up to is getting through a hectic week of school and combatting my pimple outbreak. So dont go around assuming that i have plans to make your life miserable when in reality, i wont even bother to give you a second-look or thought.

And trust me when i say that you're confusing Ego with Pride. In the midst of it all, i guess you totally forgot about Respect too. You dont get respect in a blink of an eye, you work your ass off to earn it and even after earning it, you take good care of the respect earned coz like a fragile glass, it can shatter to smithereens any time when you make the wrong move.

Seems like Balestier and Clementi PnC's are doing a great job of inviting their Seniors to Investiture. Its good to know that atleast the other campuses are getting it right. Am i complaining or jealous? Nah, i've learnt to not have too much expectations on a bunch of people who are hardly at the top of their game even during the final moments. Dont expect a standing ovation from me during your curtain-call.

Well since i cant count on my own Successors, i decided to be SHAMELESS and do my OWN invitation just for the thrill and fun of it. I dont see how hard it is to just come up with a freaking proper Invitation, it only took me less than half an hour. I hope seeing this will put all of you to shame big time, smack right in the face! Bow down and stare in wonder. Atleast its a decent job compared to, ermm, nothing? :)

Insincere Invitation

Okay, so ITE College West Student Council Investiture will be held on Friday the 13th at 2pm and as sexcited as i am to grace the Event after being invited by my Junior General Secretary Maisarah, im actually questioning if i should attend the event or not. Simply because:

Its a schooling day and i have tests in the morning. School ends at 5pm.
Its not my Investiture, Its thiers. My Chapter ended a year ago.
Not sure whats the Theme or dress-code, so what should i freaking wear? *See Point 4*
****Invitation Cock-up on Juniors Part.****

Im not sure if most of you know but i was actually invited personally by the current President of ITE College West Clementi to attend the event which i thought was pretty sweet and sincere of her. The weird thing is that i had yet to get any invites from my OWN Juniors by then, the very ones whom i trained up to be my Succesors. I was invited only upon request thanks to Shah Rizal after he pestered Maisarah about the invites.

And i wonder: If someone pesters to be invited, does it mean that you're inviting the person just for the sake of getting him/her to get off your back? Were we even originally on the list? Did you have the least bit courtesy, initiative and most importantly Intention to invite us had we not prompted and bugged you?

It all became clear on Facebook (Yes, they invited us through a simple Inbox message on FB instead of a proper email with full details or the old-school invitation card. I understand technology is a huge part of everyday life now but c'mon, an inbox message consisting of a few lines without details?? How sincere is that? Tsk.) when one of my Junior commented on tEr's status which happened quite awhile back but i only saw it recently:

"Mmm so what if we nvr invite?? U r still cmin aniwae..."
"Niwae, u won't b there??? Hahahaha! I wanna see...."

Who in the world do you take us Seniors for? Shameless Party Gate-crashers with no pride?? So much for treating us with Respect. To think i was just telling tEr that i think you're one of the nicest juniors around. Guess thats a tight slap across my face now. Instead of inviting us you challenged us to come. Instead of sincerely inviting, you assumed that we would all be there.

Well get this: The purpose of an Invitation is to formally invite and send a message that we're all welcomed to attend the event that you have planned. Wether we choose to go or not is entirely up to us to decide, no assumptions made till we confirm or RSVP with you. It amuses me how you didnt learn anything at all in your one year term of office as an EXCO.

Its not as if im attending some Hollywood premiere Red-Carpet Gala Event. Its just YOUR stupid Investiture for God's sake, to show my support for you and congratulate you for a job well done. I dont believe im being petty here. Well done LEADERS of BUKIT BATOK SC. Once again we're treated like trash by you guys huh? Do prove me wrong if you have what it takes.

Go ahead and slam me, hate me, do or say whatever you want but seriously, admit that there's a flaw. I just have the urge to unite all BB Senior Councilors to Boycott the event sia since it seems our presence wont be of utmost importance at all. I guess we were all along right when we chose them to take our place. We should have seen this coming. Total Dissapointment!

Will i still be attending the event? We shall see. To witness a major flop would be my greatest pleasure before i go "take that right back in your face". The final laugh would be the best one.

29 October 2009 Thursday.

Nothing much happened in school today (Read: BORING!) so i texted Love and asked if she would like to have Lunch together in Campus. She agreed and we met up but in the end i was the only one having lunch as she sipped her bubble tea. LOL. She didnt really have much appetite i guess. Roamed about NYP and we ended up in the Library before she finally felt like eating hence we headed back to South Canteen since she said the food that i had earlier on looked delicious. -_-"

Oh. I kept bumping into A-Team mates today!! First it was the ever cheerful and friendly Chermaine in the train then it was the bubbly and hyper Santi outside TFA! I miss them alot laa!! But due to my poor results and inability to cope well with my modules, i've been mia-ing from A-Team GM's and Events. Sigh. I do hope everyone in A-Team is having fun though!

Decided to leave campus with Love and headed to Bottle Tree Park in Khatib to chill the evening and night away. The breeze was much needed i guess and im certain we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Time flew quite fast so we left the place close to 10pm and spotted a dead bird on the pavement. OMG laa! Wonder what happened to it, may it rest in peace!

30 October 2009 Friday.

Suprisingly i paid alot of attention during QC Lecture eventhough QC is such a dry subject which can put anyone to sleep in an instant. Dont believe me? I have proof!

Had our first Project Engineering Drawing Lab Session with Mr Albert Yong. I swear he sounds like Donald Duck, very quacky. Haha. But apart from that, he's a super nice guy! He got us to download Microsoft Visio from MSDNAA FOC!! Pretty cool software and i had fun doing the practice assignment.

The boys were in similar Purple Outfit today which was pretty gay laa!! LOL. They sat in the same row so it was quite cute and cool in a way. Which leads me to wonder: When will CP0903 Ever start making the Class T-shirt??!! I want it so bad :(

Its Halloween!! And to add to the spooky atmosphere, there was a heavy downpour capable of sinking the whole of Singapore!

I didnt go Trick or Treating coz the Blaze Peeps and myself were cordially invited to Winson's 21st Birthday Dinner at Golden Landmark Hotel. Yes, it was super cool getting invites to such a formal event at a classy place! All of us were dressed to impress and as usual, we were all in similar shades of color even without planning! Just one of the few reasons why i love the Blaze Peeps, we have chemistry! :)

We didnt wanna get drenched in the rain so we went for umbrella shopping and settled for a cheap fugly looking aunty umbrella from Guardian! But it was alrite, Love and I totally rocked it and made it work. Sharing an umbrella under the rain was loved! Poor Mimi was partially drenched though while sheltering 'Ak from the rain. Thats a true Gentleman i must say! :)

The venue was perfect for a 21st Dinner and the moment we entered, the first thing that caught our eyes was the DIY Birthday Card that we made for Winson. He displayed it so proudly at the reception table for the whole world to admire. Sweet!!

The moment Winson saw us we were screaming and hugging him like crazy, which prompted him to remind us that it was a formal event and we should all behave. LOL! :P

Fine-dining Indian Cuisine was the bomb. We went crazy over the Naan and free refills of drinks got us drunk. We must have had 7 or 8 refills sia throughout the whole event. I died from inhaling the smell of Jasmine Flower though, i so hate the smell *stares at indian aunty seated beside me who had jasmine flowers in her hair!*

All in all we had a great time together. The Hotel lift was fantastic and the Executive Suite made us go gaga. We left the building in style and went our separate ways after that. I guess i better start saving up for my 21st Birthday Party. I want it to be GRAND!!

I love being invited to High Class Dinners and Parties! Blaze peeps is very much loved by me. I have the right bunch of friends in my Life, Thank You! :)
